I travelled along with the organisation founder and Aussie team players to Oregon, USA, for the World Speedgolf Championships. I then brokered a relationship with Yarra Bend Golf in Melbourne and the initiative of hosting the Australian Speedgolf Championships. Fox Sports televised the event. Channel 7 televised the celebrity event with sports influencers and endorsers such as Andy Maher and Andrew Gaze. The aims of the role were achieved.
As Media and Marketing Officer I was brought on to focus on what worls and what doesn't and how to make efffectiveness central to the marketing and media programs by embracing touchpoints from the traditional to the experiential, digital and word of mouth.
